SparkForce, The FMA Foundation, awards scholarships twice each year to students pursuing degrees or certifications related to manufacturing careers.
Scholarship Details
- Awarded twice per year
- Open to students pursuing degrees or certifications in manufacturing-related fields
- Supports both full-time and part-time students meeting credit hour requirements
- Scholarship awards are based on academic achievement and program enrollment
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be pursuing a degree or certification in an approved manufacturing-related field
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a manufacturing-related program for the semester of application
- Must be a full-time student (12+ credit hours) or part-time student (6+ credit hours) while working
- Minimum GPA requirements: 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for community, trade, or technical college students and 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for university students
Application Process
- Complete the online scholarship application
- Provide a high school or college transcript from the most recently completed full semester
- Transcripts may be uploaded with the application, mailed, or sent electronically via services like Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse
- Ensure transcripts are included with the application or postmarked by the deadline
- Submit all materials before the application deadline
If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified via email and required to sign and submit a scholarship award acceptance form, submit a headshot photo and a signed photo release form and activate a complimentary one-year Student membership with the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) if not already a member
