The Standing With You Scholars Fund was established to support student parents through scholarships, campus policies, and resource accommodations. Since 2019, we have passed sixty new campus policies, connected more than one hundred parenting students to local resources and partnered with ~300 schools to publish resources on Standing With You's National Directory.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship is open to student parents or expecting parents
- Funds may be applied to tuition, childcare, or other school-related expenses
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (official transcript required)
- Must provide proof of dependency or proof of baby’s due date
- Must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary institution
- Must provide documentation of tuition cost and related expenses
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Submit a transcript showing a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Provide proof of dependency or due date by June 30th
- Write a 250–500-word essay on one of the following prompts:
- Describe one personal goal you will set as both a parent and a student
- What advice would you share with your child when he or she becomes your age?
- Submit proof of active enrollment and tuition cost (childcare and school-related expenses may also be included)
- Submit the application and all supporting materials the deadline
