We are inviting healthcare students from underrepresented groups to apply for a $5,000 scholarship toward their degree or certification, renewable for up to three years for a potential award amount of $20,000.
Eligibility
- Be a current, enrolled student pursuing a healthcare or allied healthcare career at an accredited program recognized by the student’s state.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
- Self-identify as a person from an underrepresented population in the healthcare field.
Finalists will be asked to complete an additional video or written submission.
The five applicants with the most compelling ideas for addressing some of the biggest challenges in healthcare access will be awarded $5,000 each. Scholarship awards can be renewed annually for up to three years for a potential award amount of $20,000 over four years. This scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in a healthcare or allied healthcare program at an accredited higher-education institution (such as a vocational school, community college, or four-year university), ending in a license or certification.
