GoodRx Helps is committed to supporting a healthcare workforce that reflects the increasingly multicultural U.S. population. The Students for Healthcare Equity Scholarship provides financial aid to rising health equity advocates from underrepresented groups. This scholarship is open to self-identifying underrepresented students from all patient-facing career paths.
Scholarship Details
- $5,000 scholarship award for up to five recipients
- Award is renewable for up to three additional years (maximum $20,000 total)
- Open to students in patient-facing healthcare or allied health programs
- Funds can be used toward tuition and education-related expenses
- Winners must participate in light content creation for GoodRx Helps
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a healthcare or allied healthcare program at an accredited higher-ed institution (vocational school, community college, or university)
- Pursuing a degree or certification leading to licensure in a patient-facing healthcare field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Self-identify as part of an underrepresented group in healthcare
Application Process
- Prepare a written or video essay showcasing your ideas and passion for healthcare equity
- Submit academic transcripts to confirm GPA
- Include any relevant work experience (optional, but beneficial)
- Complete the online application by the designated deadline
- If selected, participate in biannual check-ins and provide short videos or written content reflecting your academic journey
- Submit transcripts annually to remain eligible for renewal
