Eligibility Criteria
- Must identify as LGBTQIA+
- Must live in Colorado
- Must be attending school now or planning to begin by the coming fall
- Must attend an accredited Colorado college, university, or trade or technical program
- Applicants needing an exception to the Colorado school requirement must explain in their essay
- Must demonstrate financial need through the application process
- Field-specific scholarships require enrollment in education, mental health, or dental-related degree programs
Application Process
- Complete the official scholarship application form
- Write a personal essay of no more than 500 words addressing your goals, financial need, and community involvement
- Include any request for an exception to the Colorado school requirement if applicable
- Submit two signed letters of recommendation, including at least one from a teacher or instructor
- Provide academic recommendation letters on official school letterhead when possible
- Attach a copy of a state or federal photo ID
- Submit any additional supplement required for specific named scholarships
