Throughout history, artists have traveled alongside explorers — sketching on deck, painting in tents, capturing in pigment what science captured in data. The work they brought home changed how the world saw itself. We strongly recommend downloading the application form and using it as a worksheet to prepare your responses before completing the online submission. The online form does not save your progress—if you close your browser before submitting, your information will be lost. Completing a draft offline ensures nothing is left behind.
