The Iris-Samuel Rothman Scholarship is a scholarship available to young men attending school in the Northeastern United States who have unfortunately lost their mother and their father. Additionally, the scholarship is also available to a young man who has lost his mother, and either never knew, or does not have a father available to him. It is for students currently enrolled in or having been accepted to a New England college or university.
The amount varies year to year depending on funds that are available to the organization, but can range anywhere from $500 to $5,000 dollars. Due to limited administrative personnel, and the many applications we receive, only scholarship recipients will be notified within sixty days of receipt of application. For more information, or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
