The Kenli Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides scholarship dollars to individuals pursuing secondary education beyond high school. The foundation aims to keep Kenli Parish Riney’s legacy and sparkle alive after her unexpected passing in 2021. Kenli had been accepted to Tarleton State University, where she was delighted to start a new journey. Her motto of "Be kind; Share Christ®" is the foundation’s mission.
Scholarship Details
- One-time scholarships for students pursuing post-secondary education
- Awarded during the summer months
- Funded by individual and corporate donors, apparel sales, and annual fundraising events
- Number and amount of awards may increase as the Foundation grows
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education (college, trade school, etc.)
- Demonstrated performance of heroic acts or volunteer service
- Participation in cause-related events such as fun runs or festivals
- Commitment to sharing Christian values through action
Application Process
- Visit the Kenli Foundation website
- Complete and submit the scholarship application form, or be nominated by someone else
- Ensure all required supporting materials are included
- Wait for review and scoring by the Board of Directors based on the listed criteria
- Receive notification of award decisions during the summer
