The Maureen D. Keller Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to support the continuing STEM education of Keller BLOOM Program participants. This award recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence, a passion for science, and the ability to overcome personal or financial challenges.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount is $1,500
- Funds may be used for tuition and fees, books, housing, research, equipment and other educational expenses
- The scholarship is open to students attending schools in the United States or other countries
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have participated in the previous year's Keller BLOOM Program
- Must be a high school senior at the time of application
- Must be enrolled in a college or university program for the academic year following the award
- Must intend to major in a STEM field
- Must demonstrate a passion for science
Application Process
- Use the online application site emailed to you by the Keller BLOOM Program Director
- Submit a description of no more than 300 words explaining what you have learned in the STEM field over the past year and how it has inspired your passion for pursuing science as a career
- Submit a description of no more than 300 words explaining how you have shared what you learned through the Keller BLOOM Program or other STEM activities with others
- Arrange for two letters of recommendation to be submitted through the online recommendation form
- Provide your recommenders with the online submission site emailed to you by the Program Director
- Complete and submit the application and all required materials through the designated online application site
