The Pearl Mae Foundation gives annual scholarships of $1000 to students who want to pursue careers in health care or first responder fields to help support the increased demands of the growing senior population. The student must be seeking a career in the healthcare or first responder fields (nursing, pre-med track, EMT, firefighter, police officer, etc.) Graduate students are also encouraged to apply (PA, MD, NP, MSN, etc.)
Please Note that scholarships are restricted to graduating high school seniors living in Florida. More specifically, priority is given to students living in South Florida. In addition, renewal applications for students who meet all scholarship criteria are encouraged to reapply each year of their education. This years essay topic: In 1000 words or less, describe your career goals and how your career will relate to the purpose and mission of The Pearl Mae Foundation. Also, how would the scholarship impact your ability to pursue your educational goals?
