Scholarship Details
- Award amount of $2,500
- Up to three scholarships awarded annually
- Funds intended to support associate degree or certificate program students in NDT
- Administered by the ASNT Foundation’s Scholarships and Grants Committee
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be officially enrolled in an associate degree or certificate program that includes studies in NDT
- Must demonstrate commitment to pursuing a career in nondestructive testing or a related discipline
Application Process
- Applicants must submit an original essay (maximum of 500 words) summarizing any previous education in NDT, future career goals, how NDT will play a role, and how the scholarship will provide an advantage to furthering their NDT education.
- Applicants must provide the name of the school or training organization where coursework will be completed.
- Applicants must provide a brief description of the coursework they are or will be enrolled in.
- Applicants must provide the month and year when they intend to begin coursework.
- Applicants must provide the month and year when they expect coursework to be completed.
- Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor.
The ASNT Foundation's Scholarships and Grants Committee will review each application received. Recipient selection will be based on the clarity and relevance of their essay and coursework. A well-written, thoughtful essay that clearly articulates the applicant's previous training or education in NDT, future career goals, and how the scholarship will provide an advantage to further their career development.
