Join young changemakers like you who are making waves for cleaner communities and cleaner rivers, lakes, oceans, and other waterways. Let’s sweep our streets, educate our communities, and make waves to be eligible to earn a $1,500 scholarship.
Scholarship Details
- Host your own Street Sweep and do your part to keep your streets and streams clean. You'll receive 10 volunteer credit hours.
- Create and share a PSA promoting safe trash disposal in your community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be 13 to 25 years old
- Must be a resident of the United States or a U.S. territory
- No minimum GPA required
Application Process
- Select "Apply Now" to visit The Wavemakers page on DoSomething.org.
- Sign up or log in to your DoSomething account.
- Take action by hosting a Street Sweep or completing the Ripple Effect campaign.
As part of the Love Your Happy Place Coalition, Wavemakers like you are cleaning up the pollution and trash accumulating in streets, sidewalks, parks, and drains before it enters major bodies of water, while also raising awareness about responsible trash disposal in their communities.
