Scholarship Description

Scholarships are available in a wide range of areas—no matter your GPA, your high school, or the college you plan to attend, we likely have an opportunity for which you’re eligible to apply.

Scholarship Details

  • Awarded to students from Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin Counties
  • Scholarships for students of varying GPAs, interests, and areas of study
  • Funding decisions for WSF Scholars are provided in late May
  • Funding decisions for Access Scholarships are provided on a rolling basis throughout the summer

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a resident of one of the eligible counties
  • Scholarships available for both traditional and non-traditional students
  • Open to students attending universities and community colleges
  • Some scholarships are based on financial need
  • Must submit a completed FAFSA Submission Summary (for U.S. citizens) or follow instructions for non-citizens

Application Process

  1. Complete the FAFSA form at fafsa.gov (for U.S. citizens)
  2. Access the One-Stop Scholarship Application and create an online account
  3. Complete the General Application and any additional recommended applications
  4. Provide FAFSA Submission Summary, high school transcript (through 11th grade) or most recent college transcript and contact information for a recommendation
  5. Submit the application by the deadline
