Scholarship Description

From cranberry growing and harvesting, to business and marketing, Wisconsin’s cranberry industry provides learning opportunities and materials for elementary school students and scholarships for college-bound students. These resources are provided by the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association (WSCGA) and the Wisconsin Cranberry Board. Throughout their generosity, the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association offers financial aid to interested students.

The Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association (WSCGA) has established five endowed scholarship funds for students pursuing careers related to cranberry production. These funds are established from the net proceeds of the annual WSCGA Cranberry Golf Open and WSCGA Sporting Clay Shoot. Scholarship funds include: the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, the University of Wisconsin - Madison, the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, Wisconsin Technical Colleges, and the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Eligibility requirements, award amount, acceptable academic majors, and deadlines vary by scholarship.
