The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Lowe’s are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Sixty scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship for the upcoming academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.
To be eligible, applicants must: be enrolled full-time as a sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the upcoming school year; have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0; have an unpaid school balance between $500-$7,500; be able to demonstrate leadership abilities; be able to demonstrate financial need; be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551; and must not have previously received the Lowe’s Scholarship.
