Scholarship Details
- Supports young cancer patients and survivors pursuing higher education
- Available to students enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university
- Selection is based on academics, character, attitude and resilience
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have been diagnosed with cancer before the age of 21
- Must have previously received financial support from the Jay Fund or participated in a Jay Fund event
- New York/New Jersey applicants must be permanent residents of New York City or the New Jersey counties of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Passaic, or Union
- North Florida/South Georgia applicants must be permanent residents of the eligible counties in Florida or Georgia served by the Jay Fund
Application Process
- Confirm that you meet all scholarship eligibility requirements
- Determine whether you qualify as a New York/New Jersey applicant or a North Florida/South Georgia applicant based on your permanent residence
- Email the appropriate Jay Fund contact for your region to request or submit your scholarship application
- Provide any required information or documentation requested during the application process
