Toys for Kids $5,000 college scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Dave, who believed in upholding high standards and a commitment to the community. This scholarship recognizes exceptional high school seniors who reflect these values and have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to service in their communities.
Scholarship Details
- One-time $5,000 award for the academic year
- Winners notified in November
- Available to Washington State residents only
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school senior graduating in June
- Must reside in Washington State
Application Process
- Complete at least 10 hours of community service before applying
- Write a 300–600 word, double-spaced essay responding to provided prompt
- Combine the essay and recommendation letter into a single PDF file
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a school official or mentor
