The Triangle Community Foundation is committed to supporting students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their community through volunteer work, employment, and future aspirations. This scholarship awards financial assistance to one high school senior and one adult learner residing in the Triangle area, helping them achieve their educational goals.
Scholarship Details
- Up to $10,000 in scholarship funding
- Scholarship may be used toward any cost listed under the school's total cost of attendance
- Payments are made annually for up to four years
- Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA and submit semester reports to continue receiving funding
- One high school senior and one adult learner will be selected
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Durham, Orange, Wake, or Chatham Counties in North Carolina
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must plan to attend a public or private college or university in North Carolina
Application Process
- Determine eligibility for either the Benjamin F. Ward Scholarship (for high school seniors) or the Joseph Nystrom Working Student Scholarship (for adult learners)
- Complete and submit the relevant scholarship application
- Provide all required documentation by the deadline
