Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. Scholarship Details
- Designed to assist students with visual or physical handicaps.
- Aims to support handicapped students from Saginaw County in obtaining a college education.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior or an enrolled college student.
- Must be a resident of Saginaw County.
- Must be visually or otherwise physically handicapped.
- Must be enrolled full-time.
Application Process
- Submit proof of Saginaw County residency.
- Provide documentation of visual or physical handicap.
- Demonstrate full-time enrollment status in a higher education institution.
- Showcase scholastic record, financial need, and overall involvement in community, school, and work activities.
