The Illinois Achievement Scholarship is for incoming non-resident freshmen with demonstrated financial need. By applying to The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, otherwise known as the UIUC, you’re automatically in the running for the following scholarships, regardless of your major. All scholarships are for fall and spring semesters only unless otherwise noted. The Illinois Achievement Scholarship is only for non-residents.
The amount of the Illinois Achievement Scholarship for non-residents is up for the amount $10,000 dollars, and is tuition-restricted. It is renewable for up to four years, provided the student in question maintains a 3.0 GPA out of 4.0 GPA, and remains a full-time actively enrolled student with full-time status. The number of awards given annually will vary.
