The Washington Apple Education Foundation is the charity of the tree fruit industry. Their mission is to impact lives through access to educational opportunities. Investors in the WAEF are making dreams come true for men and women improving their lives through higher education. Every year, the Washington Apple Education Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to deserving students on behalf of tree fruit industry families, employers and supporters.
The Van Doren Sales Vocational Scholarship is open to graduating seniors and former graduates of Eastmont, Wenatchee, Cascade, Cashmere, Chelan, or Waterville high schools pursuing a vocational education at a two-year community college or vocational trade school in Washington state. Other than the aforementioned requirements, this scholarship is open to most candidates. Dollar amounts for the scholarship will vary. Applications run from the Fall until the due date.
