The Vermont Retail & Grocers association is proud to offer scholarships to students affiliated with member businesses. Through our scholarship program we provide financial assistance to eligible students entering their first year at an accredited two or four-year post-secondary educational institution in the U.S.
Scholarship Details
- Available to students affiliated with VRGA member businesses
- Supports students entering their first year at an accredited two- or four-year institution
- Application deadline: April 24th
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Vermont resident affiliated with a VRGA member
- Must be a 2026 high school graduate or entering college for the first time
- Must plan to attend an accredited U.S. postsecondary institution
- Must complete the FAFSA at least four weeks prior to the deadline
- Must be the dependent of a VRGA member employee or owner or be an employee of a VRGA member company in Vermont
- If employed, must work at least 15 hours per week (or 750 hours per year) and have at least one year of employment with a VRGA member
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application.
- Submit proof of affiliation with a VRGA member business.
- Complete and submit the FAFSA within the required timeframe.
- Provide academic and enrollment information.
- Submit all materials by April 24th.
The VRGA Scholarship Fund is supported solely by our members. Thank you to our members for awarding Vermont students each year who embark on a path toward higher education. Please email or mail your application to the addresses provided.
