The purpose of the Washington CPA Foundation is to strengthen and expand the profession by advancing and investing in the accounting profession. The Washington CPA Foundation is excited to be able to offer scholarships for Washington State students interested in a career in accounting. If you are entering college as a first- or second-year student in fall, have a 2.5 GPA and above (or equivalent)– please apply!
Eligibility: Attend a two- or four-year college or university in Washington Statel; Be entering your first or second year (in college) in the coming fall; Have an interest in becoming an accountant or certified public accountant (CPA); GPA: 2.5 (high school GPA for those entering their first year in college or college GPA for those entering their second year year). Applications are to be completed online and require the following: Current résumé including jobs, internships (paid or unpaid), volunteer positions and leadership roles on campus or in the community; Transcripts (official or unofficial from all colleges attended, or high school if applying as a first-year college student). One essay (prompt in application); Email address or contact information for one reference. Reference may be an educator, supervisor, CPA, mentor or community reference (volunteer coordinator, church leader, etc.).
