Scholarship Description

The Wells Fargo Stacey Milbern Scholarship is designed to help students with disabilities pursue the education or training they need to succeed in their chosen career path.

Scholarship Details

  • Only the first 700 completed applications will be considered
  • Award amounts: $2,500 for full-time study, $1,250 for half-time study
  • Full-time awards renewable up to three additional years
  • Half-time awards renewable up to seven additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned
  • Renewal contingent on maintaining a 2.5 GPA or higher and continued enrollment at awarded level

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have an identified disability or long-term recurring condition that impacts one or more major life activities
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Must be a high school senior, graduate, or current undergraduate enrolled or planning to enroll full-time or half-time (minimum 6 credits per term) at an accredited U.S. two-year or four-year institution
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident currently residing in the United States

Application Process

  1. Confirm you meet all eligibility requirements
  2. Prepare necessary information including GPA, enrollment plans, and personal details
  3. Complete the online application through Scholarship America as early as possible (limited to first 700 submissions)
  4. Submit the application before the deadline for consideration
  5. Watch for email notification of your application status in late June

You will be notified of the status of your application in late-June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
