Scholarship Description

The Saginaw Community Foundation offers a wide range of scholarships to support high school, community college, university, and vocational students, recognizing education as essential to community growth. Since 1987, the foundation has awarded over $8 million in scholarships. Among these opportunities is the Women Giving To Women (WGTW) Scholarship, established to support and empower women from diverse backgrounds to complete their bachelor’s degrees and become community leaders. Applications are accepted from November 1 until the February deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a resident of the Birch Run, Bridgeport-Spaulding, Frankenmuth, Millington, Reese, or Vassar school districts.
  • Must have completed at least 45 semester hours at an accredited college or university.
  • Must be currently enrolled part- or full-time in an accredited university or college.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
