Women In Tech, Entertainment & Sports Scholarship welcomes applicants of all races who are enrolled in public high school or college. This scholarship honors the spirit of resilience — empowering students who have faced challenges head-on and continue to pursue their academic goals.
Scholarship Details
- Open to public high school and college students of all races
- Special consideration for student-athletes in Portland
- Additional $500 awarded to the sports team of Portland-based scholarship recipients
- Focus on resilience, achievement, and overcoming challenges
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be a student-athlete in an Olympic-qualified sport
- Must demonstrate financial need (screenshot of free/reduced meal plan, financial aid, or other proof required)
- Two references required from school officials (teachers, counselors, or administrators)
Application Process
- Complete the official scholarship application form
- Obtain and submit two references from school staff
- Provide a screenshot or documentation demonstrating financial need
- Write and submit a 400-word personal statement describing your achievements, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the importance of this scholarship
- Submit all materials by the posted deadline for consideration
