The Women of Wate Scholarship is awarded annually to four women who are pursuing a degree in water resources, wastewater, civil engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science, hydrology, earth/atmospheric science, or a related infrastructure field at an accredited Florida academic institution.
Scholarship Details

- Award amount: $2,000 each

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a woman enrolled at an accredited Florida college, university, or technical program
- Must maintain full-time enrollment
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed at least two years of a bachelor’s degree program or one year of a technical program
- Must be pursuing studies in water resources, wastewater, civil engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science, hydrology, earth/atmospheric science, or a related field
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or international student enrolled in Florida
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application.
- Provide an unofficial transcript showing GPA.
- Submit one recommendation letter directly to the scholarship committee.
- Confirm agreement to limited publicity participation if selected.
