NBHP created the Behavioral Health Scholarship to provide financial assistance and support for incoming freshmen who are committed to pursuing a degree in Behavioral Health. NBHP feels it is important to address the critical workforce shortage in the behavioral health sector by supporting the education and training of future professionals in the field.
Eligibility
- Must be a freshman at an accredited college or university in the fall
- Must be a resident of Fort Bend County, Texas
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be majoring in Behavioral Health (including but not limited to: Psychology, Social Work, Addiction Studies, Mental Health Studies)
All applications will be reviewed by the NBHP Scholarship Committee. Finalists may be invited for an interview. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, commitment to behavioral health, leadership qualities, community service, financial need and the content of the personal essay.
