Scholarship Description

YouthCon’s “Act with Impact” empowers students to create meaningful change through actionable ideas. With a $300 budget, participants are challenged to address community needs, inspire peers, and make a lasting difference. It’s about turning vision into reality and showcasing how small efforts can lead to big, transformative impact.

Scholarship Details

  • Open to high school and middle school students in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area
  • Supports innovative and driven students engaged in philanthropic work
  • Focuses on developing writing, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Requires participation in the YouthCon Award Ceremony

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a resident of Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C.
  • Must be a current middle school or high school student
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 (unweighted) on a 4.0 scale
  • High school seniors must plan to enroll or be enrolled full-time (12 credits or equivalent) as a college student for the fall semester

Application Process

  1. Confirm your residency in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C.
  2. Ensure you meet the GPA and enrollment requirements
  3. Complete the YouthCon Scholarship application form
  4. Prepare any required materials or documentation as specified in the application
  5. Submit your application before the deadline and attend the YouthCon Award Ceremony if selected

The YouthCon Scholarship is hosted by AASuccess, a Falls Church-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering the youth to gain confidence while fostering leadership skills by living our motto of “perfecting the act of giving back”.
