YouthCon’s “Act with Impact” empowers students to create meaningful change through actionable ideas. With a $300 budget, participants are challenged to address community needs, inspire peers, and make a lasting difference. It’s about turning vision into reality and showcasing how small efforts can lead to big, transformative impact.
Scholarship Details
- Open to high school and middle school students in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area
- Supports innovative and driven students engaged in philanthropic work
- Focuses on developing writing, presentation, and leadership skills
- Requires participation in the YouthCon Award Ceremony
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C.
- Must be a current middle school or high school student
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 (unweighted) on a 4.0 scale
- High school seniors must plan to enroll or be enrolled full-time (12 credits or equivalent) as a college student for the fall semester
Application Process
- Confirm your residency in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C.
- Ensure you meet the GPA and enrollment requirements
- Complete the YouthCon Scholarship application form
- Prepare any required materials or documentation as specified in the application
- Submit your application before the deadline and attend the YouthCon Award Ceremony if selected
The YouthCon Scholarship is hosted by AASuccess, a Falls Church-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering the youth to gain confidence while fostering leadership skills by living our motto of “perfecting the act of giving back”.
