The Zonta Club of Madison Women in STEM Scholarship encourages women to pursue education, career opportunities and leadership roles in STEM fields.
Women of any age and nationality, pursuing a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) degree program at an accredited university/college/institute, who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field and are living or studying in the Zonta Club of Madison district/region, are eligible. Online students are also eligible to apply if enrolled at an accredited university/college/institute.
Eligibility
- Women of any age pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering
or Math, who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible to apply.
- Students must be enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a
master’s program at the time the application is submitted
- May be used towards master's degree
- Must be majoring in a STEM field
- Must be female
Applicants must have a strong overall academic record, particularly in STEM areas, and demonstrate initiative, ambition and commitment to pursuing a career in STEM. This award is given by the Zonta Club of Madison/Zonta Madison Foundation and applications should be submitted directly to the local club for consideration. All completed materials must be submitted by June 15th to be considered.
