  • Every year, the Wyland National Art Challenge encourages thousands of students across the nation to think about the many conservation issues we face around the world and interpret them through art. Students can choose to work collaboratively on mural projects or create individual works of art and earn a chance to win classroom prizes and scholarships. The high school junior or senior whose artwork best expresses the conservation theme will receive a scholarship to be applied toward an accredited four-year school or university. The hardships of moving back and forth from the Middle East to the states will always continue to be one of the biggest challenges I've ever faced in my life. Adapting to different cultures and different people was always a challenge but I've learned to overcome this by capturing the beauties of it all and drawing what inspired and captured my eyes on this journey.

University to Give New Students Free Laptops for Filing the FAFSA

The coronavirus made laptops a necessity for college students. Where before students without personal computers or laptops could use on-campus computers and provided software to meet the technological needs of their courses, the shift last spring to online classes necessitated that students have a stable internet connection and a compatible device. While the majority of students were able to meet this requirement, according to a study by EDUCASE, some students found themselves without a modern laptop that could run the most up-to-date browser, use RAM-heavy software or keep up even with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi.
