Students are automatically considered for scholarships upon admission. A separate application is not required. In order to receive scholarships at Northern Arizona University, applicants must: be an incoming freshman; meet Arizona Proposition 300 Public Program eligibility requirements; must not have received a baccalaureate degree; must be enrolled full-time; and must attend the Flagstaff Mountain campus. The offer of admission must be accepted and the enrollment deposit paid by May 1 for the following academic year. If awarded, high school transcripts must be submitted per the instructions provided in the award letter.
The Northern Arizona University Lumberjack Scholars Award covers 100% of tuition for students who are Arizona residents. Applicants are eligible for this award based on the completion and/or in-progress work of the 16 college preparatory (core) courses that are required for admission and a minimum 3.75 unweighted core high school GPA, with no letter grade lower than “B” in any of the required core courses (no deficiencies in core classes). Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
