Eligible applicants for the Otis A. Singletary Scholarship must have at least a 3.8 GPA, and if they took the ACT/SAT, a score of at least 33 or 1450. This is available to both Kentucky residents and non-residents. This scholarship covers the cost of full tuition plus a housing stipend for the first two years. The Otis A. Singletary Scholars receive a prestigious merit scholarship for their future potential to lead lives of intellect, integrity, and service in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the world.
The University of Kentucky offers renewable academic, competitive and selective scholarship opportunities for incoming first-time freshmen. Completed admission application and all supporting documents, including high school transcript, must be received as soon as possible, but by no later than December 1st. Once admitted, eligible students are automatically considered for academic scholarships. Combined test scores (super-score) are not considered. For all scholarships listed, students may receive only one award.
