  • Scholarship Description
  • Our academic scholarships identify future leaders of the industry through a highly competitive application process. We provide up to 52 scholarships annually to students from the highest caliber of tourism and hospitality programs across the United States and Canada and award a total of $70,000 in scholarships.

    Tourism Cares Academic Scholarships are offered in three categories:

    Applicants for undergraduate and graduate scholarships must be full or part-time student enrolled in a travel, tourism, or hospitality related program of study who are pursuing an associate's, bachelor's, or masters degree and are enrolled in the fall semester of a two or four-year college/university in the U.S. or Canada. Minimum 3.0 GPA

    Applicants for graduate research scholarships must be full or part-time student conducting graduate research in a travel or tourism related field who is enrolled in the fall semester at a four-year university in the U.S. or Canada. Minimum 3.0

    Applicants for high school scholarships must be a citizen or permanent resident in the U.S. and a high school senior who has/will successfully completed/complete an Academy of Hospitality Tourism Program (AOHT) at their high school and is entering freshmen year in the fall semester at a two or four-year university in the U.S. or Canada.
