Park Scholar Award

The Park Scholar Award is one of the premier communications scholarships in the country. Up to 20 entering freshmen will be selected to receive these prestigious full scholarships made possible by the Park Foundation.


Each scholarship covers the full cost of attendance at Ithaca College and is renewable annually for up to four years of continued full-time enrollment in the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. This figure covers the cost of tuition, room and board. In addition, there is a one-time computer allowance of $2,500 and a stipend to cover living expenses and books.

These awards recognize students who have demonstrated academic and creative achievement in communications, and significant involvement in co-curricular activities and community service. On average, Park Scholars rank in the top 5 percent of their high school classes and had 1350+ SAT scores. Successful candidates will join the current Park Scholars in a vibrant and active community of learning and service at Ithaca College.
