  • The hope of Diamonds in the Rough Ministry Intl. is to empower women down the road of self-discovery and self-worth in Jesus Christ. The Diamonds in the Rough Ministry Intl. scholarship is for high school senior females who excel in all things, including academics, community service, and extracurricular activities. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be a resident of Texas and enroll in a college or university the year in which the scholarship is awarded. Midway through his "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut, Conservative commentator Lucian Wintrich was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct after he grabbed a woman who had swiped his notes off his lectern. The charges have since been dropped and in a reversal, the woman was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct.
