The Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Philadelphia Chapter offers multiple scholarships to deserving minority students who reside in the Philadelphia Region (exluding the Maryland portion) who have a career interest in the transportation industry and related fields. The Scholarship Program supports the mission of COMTO by promoting, strengthening, and expanding the roles of minorities in all aspects of transportation.
COMTO offers scholarships to students at all grade levels, as long as they identify as a minority, live in the Greater Philadelphia area (excluding the Maryland portion), and are perusing a career in the transportation industry. Students must complete the scholarship application, provide proof of citizenship, include your response to this years Essay question, provide two letters of recommendation, and finally your official school transcript (if applicable). The number of recipients will vary each year.
