The Live Más Scholarship empowers students who are passionate about making a difference in their communities and beyond. This scholarship program by the Taco Bell Foundation supports students at every stage of their journey, helping them channel their passion into transformative change. Since 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation has awarded more than $110 million in Live Más Scholarships and grants to youth-serving nonprofit organizations focused on education and career readiness. Scholarship Details Application Method: Submit a video (30 seconds to 2 minutes) detailing your passion, its pursuit, and its potential impact. Video Content: Explain how you are pursuing or plan to pursue your passion and how it can positively impact society. Video Format: Can be a short film, animation, or testimonial recorded on any MP4-enabled device. Application Evaluation: Evaluated on demonstrated passion, potential social impact, personal presentation, and alignment with educational goals. Program Scope: Provides financial support along with ongoing collaboration and networking opportunities. Renewal Program: Available to past recipients who submit a 2-minute video showing how they have furthered their passion. The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship offers a comprehensive program to support minority high school seniors in their journey to college, focusing on financial aid, leadership development, and community service. Scholarship Details Designed for graduating minority high school seniors in the U.S. Focuses on addressing financial needs and providing guidance through higher education. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must be minority high school seniors and U.S. citizens. Must demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, leadership potential, and dedication to community service. Plan to attend an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S. or affiliated with a U.S.-based college or university. Should not have accrued more than 25% of credits needed for college graduation. Application Process Complete the online Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship application. Submit one recommendation, demographics, high school information including an unofficial transcript, and college plans. Provide optional test scores (AP, IB, PSAT, ACT, SAT), details of activities and distinctions, and household information. Write and submit four essays as part of the application. The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) awards a variety of need-based and merit-based scholarships to students looking to participate in Study Abroad programs. Deadlines and amounts vary. Kennedy Library Foundation invites U.S. high school students to describe and analyze an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born. Scholarship Details Required essay of 700 to 1,000 words Essay must be the student’s original work A minimum of five varied sources, such as government documents, letters, newspaper articles, books, and/or personal interviews, must be used Eligibility Criteria Open to high school students in grades 9-12, including correspondence/GED programs and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas. Previous winners and finalists are not eligible. Employees of John Hancock Financial Services and their families are ineligible.
