Centene Institute Anti-Vaping Scholarship

  • Scholarship Description
  • An entry must be a new, original video message (hereafter “Entry”) created by the Entrant. The Entry idea generation, video production and video editing must be student-led, conceived by the Entrant and be the sole and original work of the Entrant.

    The Entry must include video message of length 30 to 60 seconds aimed to raise awareness about vaping, e-cigarette use and prevention education for peers. Must be an original video that is the unique work of the Entrant or Entrants (Entrants can work individually or as a team; all team members need to complete all required forms by the deadline; award funds will be distributed equally among all team members). Any music used should either be created by the Entrant or permission to use the music must be supplied if included in the video. Each person in the video must sign a media release form
    Submission are not limited to English alone; Spanish entries are welcome. Other languages would require English translations subtitles to accompany submissions. As appropriate, carefully cite any sources or references used. Any citations used must be open source and credible, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
