• Scholarship Description
• The Grocery Manufacturers Representatives Association (GMRA) is a nonprofit organization formed in Louisiana to bring grocery manufacturers and retailers together. The organization is comprised of approximately 80 companies and is dedicated to preventing trade abuses, promoting uniformity and certainties in business practices, and establishing confidence among sellers, buyers, and sales representatives.

  To be eligible for the , applicants must: be graduating from a high school in Louisiana and be enrolling full-time into an accredited university or college; an ACT score of 25 and a 3.5 GPA; and must have taken honors or advanced placement courses. The award is $500 each semester for the first two semesters and $1,500 per semester thereafter, for a maximum award of $10,000 distributed over 8 consecutive semesters (fall and spring only).
