Domestic abuse hit such a big area for me. I grow up watching my mother go through so much with men. It left such a deep scar on my mother and myself. With me being the oldest I had to be her rock at such a young age. after a while it becomes a life style of pain and healing. I know i can give this scholarship my all if giving the chance.

Yes I applied for this scholarship because I have experienced this in a part in my life, and I feel as if someone should ever go through this at all.

As someone who had endured domestic abuse through the majority of my education, this scholarship would suit me not only to help me further my education, but so i may afford to leave the state with my mother, to keep us both safe.

Domestic violence has consumed my life for the past year and finally being free of it I feel that this scholarship would be a perfection option for me.

For domestic violence, i have gone through my fair spare of emotional abuse. I feel like this scholarship would best suit for me for that reason.

Free College? Check Out These Tuition-Free Schools!

October 15, 2020

by Izzy Hall

At Scholarships.com, we help students find scholarships to pay for college tuition. But what if you didn’t have to pay tuition? There are a handful of schools in the U.S. that are tuition-free, meaning that while students may have to pay for room and board or meal plans, they do not have to pay tuition to attend the college. On the flip side, tuition-free schools may require students to work alongside their studies or, for military academies, to enlist upon graduation. [...]
