I applied, because to make people understand that cyberbullying can cause humiliation or suicide. We would want lives saved instead of taken.

This is a dream come true scholarship. Everyone wants it but only a few are selected, or who knows. I would love to be that one of a few, like everybody else. But only God knows and can determine, who really needs it. My name is Reynaldo I’m a senior in HS, I would be so grateful to win this scholarship because it would help me achieve my dream in the "Law Enforcement Unit" career. I’m only 17 and I am in many programs, in different precincts and youth programs to help the community. I love to help others, and I also volunteer in order to have sometime of experience that would help me in the long run. I want to become and FBI Agent and with this little bit of help, god knows i might be able to pursue my career even further. Its sad how college are becoming so expensive, and me like the others cannot afford. its sad how we have dreams and goals in life and we cannot achieve it because of the expensive amount we have to pay. I wish that college were free so minorities like myself can achieve our goals in life.

My name is Jessica Diaz. I attend high school as an incoming senior. My goal in life is to be successfully happy. I love being involved in school activities, whether it is really early or late. I have been involved at my school since stepping foot on the campus. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, picnics, bike rides, or on a run with my dogs. I am a person that carries such enthusiasm. I love small group discussions. Eating is a daily thing, I enjoy Italian food and all of the above. School activities were a bit challenging this past year, failure had came across my life. All three years of high school I had been a part of student council. Freshmen year as a Representative, Sophomore year as Vice President, Junior year I had moved up to Executive Student Body Secretary. Unfortunately, this past year elections had resumed, I ran for Student Body President, and did not succeed. Not achieveing did not keep me from trying. I applied to be a class representative, it was played by favoritism therefore, failure struck again. I continued to not give up at this point, and being a returner from my sophomore year, I tried out for the dance team and did not succeed. I have realized maybe was my time to experience new things so I have learned I am into body building, I told my councilor to put me in weight training class. She looked at me funny because usually boys are put in the class but I like to be different. I believe women are just as capable as men. I like building things and creating a different image whether it is body building, designing building also known as architecture, or engineering. My goal is to be an engineer, my second goal is to be an MMA fighter, and my third goal still has questioning but military sounds awesome. There is more to me then meets the eye. I am an extremely fun person to be around and I hope all does you well in life, remember to be happy and stay positive. Sincerely, Jessica

Having been raised by a single mother, duct tape was and is a cure-all in our home. Her tools are pink, we have duct tape in every possible color and Sharpie pens in more colors than they have for crayons.

I love this scholarship. It is creative, fun, a great way to save on a prom dress, and recycle.
