I am applying for this scholarship to help me pursue a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I graduated high school with a GPA of 3.96. I've been volunteering for the past six years in a preschool classroom that works with kids diagnosed with autism and have speech impediments. I love learning about human behavior and, by studying in Psychology, I'm hoping to help educate others in the same field.

I am applying for this scholarship to help me complete getting my associates degree in Paralegal Sciences. I am maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the program at South University. I intend on pursuing law further once I receive this degree. I will get my bachelors degree in law and then attend law school. I could use this scholarship to help pay my tuition for school.

I am pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences with hopes of one day becoming a Pediatrician. I have a passion for kids and have spent my last summers in High School volunteering in other states and countries to help these kids in whatever way possible. I would be able to use this money to pay for my labs and tuition. I am so grateful for this opportunity and to the Gladys Carol Scholarship Program for this amazing opportunity.

I have just completed my first semester of the Radiography Program.I am only able to work a part time job while in school, due to my class and clinical schedule. This would help greatly towards my financial need for schooling.

I am applying to this scholarship for nursing school because I want to make a difference in healthcare and how they treat patients. My dad passed away in 2017 from cancer and ever since that, I knew I wanted to be a nurse to not only help the patient, but to be a support system for their families. This would really help.

My journey in becoming a college graduate began way before my senior year of high school. The expectation of great grades and school/community involvement was of the highest priority's in my home. My mom and family hold a higher education a must for the future as a productive individual. As the first person in my family to have the opportunity to attend college, I would like to congratulate my mom with earing this scholarship. Thank You to the Gladys Carol Scholarship Fund for this opportunity!

I am applying for this scholarship as I am planning on getting my masters in social work. It has been a desire of mine to help others from a very young age but due to life circumstances I am only now able to pursue this dream. This scholarship would greatly help as I am a single mom and have just recently separated from my husband. Thank you for the consideration.

Elizabeth R  on 1/30/2016 8:46:12 PM

Would this scholarship apply for a married woman/mother who works full time and can attend college part time?

Ruby T  on 12/28/2015 8:34:36 PM

I recently felt I was not fully exploiting my greatest potential and a dream came into play, it is when I just decided to go back to school and enroll at Keiser University to pursue an Associate’s degree of Science in Medical Administrative Billing and Coding, nonetheless I am a 61 years old woman. I believe it is never too late to achieve your goals in life and make your dreams come true. However, unfortunately money becomes a barrier between my dreams and their realization.

Kelsei I  on 12/22/2015 5:44:46 PM

This scholarship will be a BIG boost to the head start in my career, which is college.

Rez A  on 3/25/2015 9:17:48 PM

Applying for this scholarship is very important to my education process of becoming what I have always thought is my calling in life. Nursing is something I want to profess in because I've watched people in my family do so in their careers, and I know I can be an exemplary student in this field.

Gabrielle C  on 3/16/2015 9:23:18 PM

I applied because I have a sincere interest in neuropsychological research. I have an interest because many of my family members suffer from alzheimer's. I would like to conduct research on a cure for this disease.

But the University of California system has gone in an entirely different direction by announcing that will no longer require the SAT or ACT for all California state applicants. [...]
