• IMM is proud to offer The Paradise Scholarship, an education-based scholarship for individuals living with sickle cell disease. We know that “education” can take many forms. We define it as an activity that furthers one’s knowledge to improve their quality of life and advance their ability to create a sustainable livelihood. This could take the form of a workshop, course, experiential-learning, or degree program. Award amounts range from $250-$1500, and are determined by demonstrated need, availability of funds, number of applicants, and the discretion of the Board of Directors.

  Applicants must have sickle cell disease (verifiable by a doctor), be 25 and under, submit a formal application that will include a detailed explanation of how the applicant will use the money to further their education, sign a consent form, and write an impact statement after a designated period following receipt of the scholarship.
