I am a senior at Avalon k-12 High school which is on a small Island called Catalina Island. Our school only provide us with limited knowledge and sports. I have played on the varsity team for my whole high school experience and even got to partake in a opportunity to visit Pennsylvania to further build my skill at the Phenom program. I have a GPA of 3.4 and have 4 out of the 5 AP classes that my school provide. I am interested in this scholarship because just like our school provides it's students with limited things, the work here is not that great either. So it is very difficult to earn money at this time especially with this pandemic.

I have been recently recruited to play D3 softball. I will be a first generation college student and come from a Blue Collar farm family. I know the value of hardwork and want to continue my education in the medical field to be able to give back to my local community. The pandemic has really put a damper on that with my father owning his own business, etc.

Hello! My name is Christian Ballard. I am a senior at Jackson Central Merry Early College High School. I am slated to graduate in May with my high school diploma as well as an Associate’s degree from Jackson State Community College. I have applied to several universities and have been accepted to many. I have not decided which institution I will attend; however, I am trying to obtain as much funding as possible. I have been in contact with JSU basketball recruiter and have been accepted to the school as well as the basketball team; however, no academic scholarships are available at this time. I plan to major in Engineering. I am very interested in applying for this scholarship opportunity. I would be grateful for the opportunity to apply and to be considered. Your investment in my future would be most appreciative. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Christian Ballard

I have been dedicated to Track and Field since 7th grade. I am now a senior in high school and I never thought I would love the sport so much. I have an opportunity to continue my passion in college with a little help. I want this scholarship so I can pursue my education while simultaneously doing what I love.

I am a senior at Middle College High School, Memphis Tn. My GPA is a 3.7. I am involved in community service programs. My grades have always been A's and B's. I am very passionate about my education. I have been accepted into three colleges and looking forward to being accepted into more. I plan on going to a 4-year college and major in biology and that is what my degree will be in. After completing college for four years I will apply for undergraduate medical schools to become a doctor.

I have received a roster spot on a D1 College that does not give out athletic scholarships. I have a 3.8 gpa and would like a scholarship to help pay my tuition so I can play football.

I am senior at Cache High School in Cache, OK. My GPS is 4.0. I have been recruited to play volleyball at the collegiate level for Mid-America Nazarene University. My dad is currently in the hospital recovering from an automobile accident that occurred on 13 November 2020. He may be paralyzed from the waist down. My parents are divorced and my dad was going to pay the majority of my college education. Now the money will have to be used for medical bills. I really need financial assistance for college so I can achieve my goal of becoming a medical professional.

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to go to a university in America to study and play water polo. I am an international student From New Zealand. I play water polo at a Community college In Saratoga, California called West Valley. I finished high school in 2017. Despite people telling me I cannot afford it or do it I took 2 years off after school working as a plumber, lifeguard, water polo coach and ref. I worked over 70 hour weeks prior coming to the states in August 2019. I pay for all my expenses such as school housing and food. Unfortunately My parents cannot afford to give me money for tuition or housing and food when I am away from home. I am an All American in 2 sports (water polo and swimming) I am the coast conference MVP for water polo I am Captain of my Water polo Team and Top goal scorer. I worked 2 different jobs on campus while competing and studying. I have a GPA of 3.3 The school of my dreams doesn’t have the funds to cover the tuition costs and I cannot pay the balance and pay for rent and food. I am applying for this scholarship in hopes that I may be able to fulfill my life long dream of competing at a NCAA level and get a degree. Due to covid. I have not been able to work as much as possible and this has hindered me a lot.

I have a current GPA 3.79 , SAT of 1220 and just taken my ACT this week. I can qualify for on academics but I have been playing baseball since age 7. My dream is to continue playing at the collegiate level which does not afford much monies towards sport tuition so I am seeking out scholarships to help me towards my goal. Ottawa university would like me to play for them next year but being an NAIA school they do not have much towards the sports side of scholarships.

Avoid Student Debt at Colleges with No Student Loans

February 25, 2021

by Izzy Hall

Here at Scholarships.com, we connect students with scholarships that can help alleviate the amount of student loans they need to take out to pay for college. But there are colleges out there that offer students such generous financial aid packages that they need to take out very little in loans if at all. These “no student loans” colleges replace student loans in financial aid packages with additional scholarships and grants to help fund a student’s tuition. Students accepted into these schools will pay much less than the cost of tuition and thus will not be as burdened with student debt. [...]
