  • Scholarship Description
  • The Azalee Clements Memorial Scholarship was established by her son, Michael Clements, and with memorials from family and friends of Azalee Clements in 2011 to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attend Christ Church in Bronx, NY. Azalee Clements was an active and devoted member of Christ Church for over 40 years serving as church organ
    ist, pianist, choir director, and minister of music. The scholarship may provide a non-renewable award for students who will pursue full-time undergraduate degrees from accredited post-secondary institutions. Scholarships will be applied to the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses.

    To receive consideration, applicants must:
    -Be graduating high school seniors
    -Have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5
    -Be active members of Christ Church located in Bronx, NY
    -Demonstrate financial need, but not restricted to lower family incomes (student's financial need and merit will be equally weighted)
