• The Lloyd and Morissa Parkans Scholarship Fund provides resources to enable Jewish students applying for college, graduate school, or trade school to realize their potential through academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and admirable personal attributes. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Parkans Scholarship, in conjunction with the Houston Jewish Community Foundation and Nancy Parkans Ehrenkranz, JFS is pleased to announce three scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each will be available.

  Local Jewish students with demonstrated financial need may apply for an interest-free student loan to assist with educational and living expenses in college, graduate school, or trade school.
