The Bruce Fishkin Scholarship Fund is in search of high school students in their senior year who seek to challenge themselves to succeed and accomplish what most people never imagine. Selection is based upon application essays, followed by personal interviews.
Scholarship Details
- Awards up to $50,000 per year for up to 8 semesters of undergraduate education.
- Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books, supplies, and required equipment.
- Up to six scholarships awarded annually to students residing in or attending high school in select regions of the US.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be entering senior year of high school in fall 2024.
- Must be a resident of:
- Chicago, Illinois or the counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, or Will, Illinois.
- Las Vegas, Nevada and its surrounding suburbs.
- Fairfield, Greens Farms, Redding, or Westport, Connecticut.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Must have taken the ACT or SAT and achieved a minimum ACT score of 22 or a minimum SAT score of 1100.
- Must plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States to pursue a Bachelor’s degree or a four-year program.
Application Process
- Applications open on September 9, 2024, at 12:00 PM CDT and will be accepted until November 10, 2024, at 11:59 AM.
- Submit your application, including essays, through the online portal within the specified timeframe.
- Applicants will be evaluated based on their essays, followed by personal interviews with selected candidates.
