  • Scholarship Description
  • Colorado Christian University's Scripture Memory Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate the ability to memorize a complete book of the Bible. The Scripture Memory Scholarship allows students to use their memories to reduce tuition costs - benefiting their faith and their finances at the same time. Students can choose whichever translation they wish, or multiple translations.

    Books:
    -Matthew: $4,400
    -Mark: $2,800
    -Luke: $4,800
    -John: $3,500
    -Acts: $4,500
    -Romans: $1,800
    -Ephesians: $600
    -Hebrews: $1,300

    Award amounts vary by book. A scholarship recipient candidate may receive multiple Scripture Scholarships for memorizing multiple books of scripture. All awards will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

"U of Farmington" Fraudsters Prosecuted, Deported

E-tail giant Amazon is now accepting applications to its Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program for students entering college in the fall of 2020. NC Senator Proposes Taxing of Athletic Scholarships

In response to the NCAA's vote to allow athletes to profit from their names, images and likeness, Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina has proposed taxing those scholarships. Senator Burr tweeted: "If college athletes are going to make money off their likenesses while in school, their scholarships should be treated like income. I'll be introducing legislation that subjects scholarships given to athletes who choose to 'cash in' to income taxes." [...]
