Scholarship Description
Inquire Higher is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the success of Black students and professionals through multimedia and community support. It will award The Black Student Success Scholarship to two students in 2023: 1) one high school senior who plans to enter college or trade school in the coming Fall, and 2) a current undergraduate or trade school student who expects to graduate in the coming Fall or later.
Each scholarship amount is $1,500 and includes access to college success mentorship and career guidance resources from Inquire Higher. We understand that every dollar counts, and want to provide a student with the opportunity to create one less worry as they begin their college or career journey.
Eligibility Requirements: Must currently hold a 2.75 unweighted, cumulative GPA or higher; High school senior or undergraduate student at the time of submitting the application; Planning to attend or currently attends a U.S., two or four-year college/university or trade school; Have an anticipated graduation date of Fall or later; Be of Black or African American descent; Can demonstrate leadership and community service involvement; Can demonstrate financial need.
