Scholarship Description
The Julie A. Keil Women in Hydro Scholarship Fund will provide an education scholarship program for women enrolled in an accredited college or university and majoring in a discipline relevant to entering the hydropower industry. The scholarship will be based on merit and financial need and offer grants to women who plan to enter the hydropower industry to assist with expenses to attend industry events. The application deadline for the 2023 Julie Keil Scholarship award is April 15th.
The scholarship is an education scholarship program for women enrolled in an accredited college or university and majoring in a discipline relevant to entering a career related to hydropower. The scholarship recipient is selected using criteria in line with merit and financial need. The Scholarship Committee will review each application using the following categories: Personal essay, outside appraisal, extracurricular activities, awards & honors, academic performance, and unusual personal or family circumstances.
